Símenntunarmiðstöðin á Vesturlandi (LLL Centre of West Iceland) is a public non-profit organisation, owned by municipalities in the area, the local labour unions, the local colleges, and some key companies. The Centre was founded on February 19, 1999 and receives a partial subsidy from the Icelandic Ministry of Education, Science and Culture for its operations. Founders of Símenntunarmiðstöðin are 34 in total, incl. municipalities, companies and institutions in the area.

The main objective of Símenntunarmiðstöðin is to promote and assist with continuing education in the West part of Iceland, with special attention to the support of continuing education, increased qualification as well as well-being of the population. The Centre provides courses for unemployed and/or unskilled employees, continuing education for skilled personnel and other educational services and offers various training courses for adults and young people above school age. Courses are prepared in cooperation with other educational institutions and organisations. Furthermore, Símenntunarmiðstöðin targets those who have not completed the upper secondary level of education. This target group comprises 40% of people in the labour market, although the ratio varies for different years and regions. People in this group are often not motivated to attend school and one of the important tasks for the Centre is to find and use new methods to motivate individuals to continue and finish their education.

APOPSI S.A. was founded in 1995 and operates in the field of Vocational Training, Career Counselling and Information Technologies. APOPSI is one of the largest Vocational Training and Lifelong Learning Centers in Greece with national range. It is based in Piraeus Greece and maintains departments in the cities of Patra and Nafplio. The organization has also an affiliated entity in Bucharest Romania (APOPSI ROMANIA S.A.), which provides also vocational training, career & business consulting and ICT services.
The main activities of APOPSI S.A. concern the following areas:

• Vocational training to unemployed, employees and self-employed in the form of face to face, blended learning or asynchronous/synchronous e-learning.
• Career Counselling and support to unemployed and employees on issues such as exploring professional interests, competencies and skills, professional orientation, connection with the labor market.
• Coordination, management and implementation of integrated projects and development programs related to Human Resources in the context of national and European initiatives
• Implementation of studies and research on Human Resources and Local Development
• Design, development and customization of Learning Management Systems and Learning Content Management Systems
• Design and development of digital educational content
• Development of distance learning courses.

APOPSI S.A. holds EN ISO 9001:2008, EN ISO 27001:2013 and EN ISO 1435 Quality Assurance Systems applied to the provision of its services, the company’s Information Technology Systems’ security and the implementation of dissemination activities respectively.

Creatrix is a small private company that was established in the year 2018 dedicated to offering consulting, project management support and services in the field of education and culture. The permanent staff of the organisation is 2 persons, but the company has an access to a pool of experts, who join the organisation on a project basis.

The main focus of Creatrix has been on offering tailor made education to individuals, companies, municipalities and institutions. The ideology of the company is focused on encouraging people to take on their role with creative thinking and positive attitude. Creatrix has led different development projects in cooperation with institutions and educational centres.

Dialogue Diversity is a newly established consultancy business specialised in the communicative, developmental and relational aspects of organisational and educational life. Its team has a vast international experience across Europe and beyond and finds a great interest in facilitating dialogue and development in contexts characterized by professional as well as cultural diversity. As far as training is concerned, Dialogue Diversity’s approach is focused on the Organisation seen as a Social System.

The company has its headquarters in Aveiro Portugal. The innovative training programmes for different target groups comprise own pedagogic and didactic approaches and materials,
especially for social integration, empowerment, self-reflection and motivation, as well as ICT based methods, which are constantly being updated. We are also specialised in entrepreneurial education and in the promotion and development of self-initiative and soft skills among young people and adults. Dialogue Diverity’s team has a lot of experience in project management methodology and has participated in several European Projects related to entrepreneurial education in the last few years, being in charge of some final outputs and work packages.

Development Agency of the City of Velika Gorica – VE-GO-RA is a local business development organization with a purpose of business, financial and legal counselling and technical assistance.

It provides stable platform for providing informational, advisory, consulting and operational support to local development participants, with a strong emphasis on networking of public institutions, economic entities and civil society organizations.

Through its work, the Agency supports the development of the city by providing smart, “smart city” strategic solutions for the City and its citizens. Complementary, it places special emphasis on providing support to the entrepreneurial sector through information, preparation and implementation of entrepreneurial projects, all with the aim of developing a modern and sustainable City of Velika Gorica.

VE-GO-RA’s vision is to make Velika Gorica the first positive association when it comes to a modern city, in which the City Administration uses modern technology as a tool to create quality solutions for its citizens and make VE-GO-RA the first positive association for citizens and entrepreneurs when looking for quality business information or support.

Agency is dedicated to target group of about 1.500 existing companies and 900 artisans, but also addressing citizens willing to start their own business. Services feature universal design, where all SMEs and individuals aiming to become an entrepreneur can find their benefit. By doing so, end users receive clear message from local community that every entrepreneurial endeavour reflects courage and deserves public support.

Youth in Science and Business Foundation (YSBF) is a non-profit organisation aimed at supporting innovative ideas and creativity. We disseminate information on advancements of science and technology and conduct research activities related to IT and innovation.

YSBF has been dealing with several projects on how to promote knowledge of young people and adults as well on issues related to promotion of creativity and innovative thinking to promote science subjects as a career choice among young people, adults and disadvantaged groups in the society. YSBF provide support to the above mentioned groups with the help of entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship promotion and setting a footing for more elaborate possibilities of work for people, incl. from disadvantaged backgrounds (e.g. migrants).
Since establishment of YSBF in 2001, the organization has received funding for projects from EU-funds, private sector companies, Estonian government and international organisations. The organization is based in Tallinn, Estonia, but is involved mainly in international projects. YSBF has more than 15 years of experience in projects related to young people, science, technology and dissemination of novel ideas.
YSBF considers it very important to involve into its activities various social groups – including young people with disadvantaged background.
